TEASER TRAILER: FIGHT CLUB
Changes I made to the storyboard:
- I used a music soundtrack instead of non-diegetic shouting/ cheering during the cutaway shots
- I made the 'Fight Club' text look 3D
- I also altered the end sequence, using mostly black screens, because I felt this emphasised the voice over narrative

TEASER TRAILER ANIMATIC: FIGHT CLUB
When editing my animatic I decided that the action scenes worked best without diegetic sound. The reason behind this decision was that the non-diegetic voice over had a better effect when used independently; it also allowed the audience to concentrate fully on the violence depicted, which is the purpose behind this teaser trailer. I plan to source some background music for the final trailer, preferably from the film's original soundtrack, so that the trailer fully engages the audience.

TEASER TRAILER STORYBOARD: FIGHT CLUB
Violence is the prominent motif in my teaser trailer because it is one of 'Fight Club's' defining themes. The juxtaposition of black screens and intense action captures the audience's attention, as well as creating enigma surrounding the film's plot. In every shot I have included the central character, Jack, and this has significance because the crux of the film's plot is that Jack is in fact Tyler Durden. By stressing Jack's importance in this teaser I have implicitly foreshadowed the film's iconic 'plot twist'.
